NOW AVAILABLE FOR SCHOOL VISITS!

I have enjoyed hosting numerous school classroom and library events (like this workshop series held across four of the Fraser Valley Regional Library's locations) inspiring young writers and readers! If you're interested in having an author visit with me, please reach out on my Contact Page!

Bringing me into your classroom gives your students a chance to meet a local author who will go in-depth about her publishing experience, what it was like writing her third book compared to writing her first and second, as well as a short lesson on one of the following topics:

1.

Character Descriptions

Moving past hair and eye colour!

*most popular among students

2.

Setting the Scene

Showing, not telling what the characters are experiencing.

3.

Dialogue Structure
